BODHIDHARMA

(Lecture 1)

I begin with a Great Master, exceptional, merciless, he belongs to fierce Loyalty: Bodhidharma.

First: Bodhidharma is a Great Warrior and Buddha-Master. A being of Great Clarity, i.e. Pure Sight – no world, no illusions, no other world: Pure, direct sight.

He understood every teaching because he understood himself. – Here starts the understanding of all teachings. I have said: All branches are of the same Tree, all rivers reach to the Sea. – And whoever has not understood themselves, they understand neither their teaching, nor others.

His mind is in the Spirit and not in the mind, i.e. the mind is tied up, mastered, locked: it has become a servant. His mind is Clear, Deep, Void, i.e. Boundless, Mastered, and therefore, he is Spirit and speaks as Spirit – as we will see – and his mind is simply a pure servant, an obedient servant.

He has become Truth from the Inside. This is the approach of the Spirit – there is no mind in It, no world, no createdness, no delusion of any sort. Here the mind is, as I said, a pure instrument. Something more: he has gone beyond all comprehension and incomprehension – he has become The Third Bank of the River. We have spoken of The Third Bank of the River before. He has become Nirvana, the Great Freedom. He does not interpret the occurrences of the world – there are no analyses and delusions here; he penetrates them and surpasses them.

Bodhidharma is an Ancient Spirit, he is the Kingdom of God, this is where he has descended from. The Chinese Sages call him Da Mo, the Japanese Sages – Daruma. A mighty… some of you have seen him: bearded, stern old man with a very Wise and dangerous gaze. His gaze is something like a Sword – The Sword of Truth. He is Absolutely not attached to any world – especially to this long dead world.

He says: I renounced everything and I attained Dao.

This is a being in itself Primordial, in itself The elixir of Life – he is not looking for the Elixir, he has found the Truth within himself. He has led a very Deep life in Dao, i.e. in Dharma, the Great Law, or said another way – The Truth – and not in scriptures, not in quotations, not in arguments. Very simple: when you have become the Truth, all arguments are dead.

He has descended to Earth but he lives with Dao. Such a being you can never approve of or critisise: you can only follow him, and in your own way, because such beings give Freedom. Either you follow him, or you do not follow him.

If you are seeking knowledge you cannot comprehend Bodhidharma. You have but one choice: you must honestly seek Truth – only then will you have a connection to Bodhidharma. With such Truth which is from Dao, hide away all your pitiful knowledge, including pure spiritual knowledge. Listen sincerely, come sincerely and listen carefully, because Bodhidharma has not belonged to this world or the other world since very long ago.

Here, with him, there are no two opinions. As I said, The Third Bank of the River, i.e. it is Depth that is speaking. This is Pure Word from the Abyss. There is no good and evil here, no pitiful philosophy, because – he says: Truth is marvelous! If you are worthy, you will hear It. If you live It, you will understand It.

With this Truth you can have truthful relations and no other kind: there is no meditation here; it is excessive, it is secondary. The question here is: Do you have the right relation with Truth and with Dao? Here meditations also fall away. Here it is important whether you live with the Truth or not… There is no need for faith here, no incense and rituals, as we will see later. Incense is a big tragedy, we will explain later in Symbolic Buddhism – what Buddha said.

If here, on Earth, you understand this Dao, this Truth, you will go to It, and if you argue you will remain in yourself and in your own death, i.e. in your limitations.

If you seek knowledge instead of Truth you are yet far off and in you there are still no conditions for development. Only Dao, i.e. the Truth in you is your Saviour – faith does not save.

I have explained to you before – The Truth is the measure. And this is why the Master says: Be Truthful! –not a believer, not religious, not good. Be Truthful! – I will explain: Faith is only a guiding power, and Love towards Truth – this is already the Way to Salvation. Outside of Truth there is no Salvation – this is the Occult, Deep Buddhism: it is based on Truth, it excludes faith. I have met numerous people with faith: and they live in ignorance. Faith does not help. You must have entered into Love, and Love must have allowed you to seek Wisdom and Truth. This Deep Buddhism (later we will speak of it) – no rituals help here. No charity: charity never saves people. In time, when I speak to you of Islam, you will see that this charity of the world can be punished – it is distant from Truth.

BODHIDHARMA

 (First idea for contemplation)

Bodhidharma says: Good deeds are illusory ghosts. – I will repeat, because these are the Deep Truths: Good deeds are illusory ghosts. – The Sage is saved with or without deeds. If a foolish person helps people a lot – the Sage does not help. The fool continues to perish and die in many incarnations. – The Sage has outgrown the deeds. If the Sage does… If they bring you sorrow, this is something very nice; if the fool brings you happiness, this is something very bad.

Here is the Kingdom of the Pure Spirits; from here, many degrees up begin. Here Bodhidharma guides you towards Dao, he corners you: you either choose Truth, or delusions…

Bodhidharma is Depth – and many Buddhist scholars were perturbed because he is odd. Very simple: Truth is never scientific, as many expect – it never was scientific. Bodhidharma has sliced both science and religion to pieces. Truth – this is what he upholds, there he sees Perfection. Here science and religion have no access. Here only Divine Beings enter: not scientific, not religious, not some other… Divine Beings only. Here the lowest level, in this world – the world of Truth – the lowest level is Purity. Here is the Kingdom of the Pure Spirits; from here many degrees up begin. Here Bodhidharma guides you towards Dao, he corners you: you either choose Truth, or delusions…

But let me explain. The Truth – this is the Way of huge, raw discipline, self-discipline. You create it for yourself, you choose it. You do not wait for someone to impose it upon you – you begin to shape it yourself.

Bodhidharma does not speak – he resounds. And his Quiet is also sometimes resounding and cutting because of the big Depth. You have heard people say that silence is gold – it is not so. Fish are silent, too – says the Master – but they are no Sages. The fool, even if they remain quiet their whole life, their silence is noisy. We are speaking here of an entirely different type of Quiet – Bodhidharma has attained the Truth and It has allowed him to enter into the Supreme Truth. There is no silence there, even. If I must… I shall explain another time.

Bodhidharma – of him they say, like of Lao Tzu: As if a Dragon. He is a Diamond in the rough.

He says: Either the Truth, or remain in karma and in the world.

He admits that Buddha was his Master, but he himself is such fierce Loyalty that many have said that Buddha himself marveled at him – such Loyalty, such a rare diamond.

Bodhidharma is self-created, a rock, indestructible – Truth in body. He evinces a Mighty and Pure Speechlessness… unless he disturbs you.

He moves as a Storm: he comes to shake you. There is no quiet knocking on the Heart, like Christ – Bodhidharma does not knock on the door of the Heart. He differs from Buddha and from Christ both – he is a Living Sword. Of course, Softness is a Sword as well, but Bodhidharma is something else: he comes Mightily, as a whirlwind. Sometimes in life God comes in the same way. God Himself comes as sharpness and as softness. Truth itself has within It huge sharpness so that nothing impure can enter inside It.

When the Emperor of China saw him – there had to be a meeting – when he saw him he was immediately disturbed. – As a whole, everything impure, everything of the mind is immediately disturbed, regardless of whether there are reasons or not. The quality of the mind is disturbance and worry. – Bodhidharma had one shoe on his head and the other one – on his foot. An Approach: if you accept him like this, he will reveal to you Deep things… A drop of criticism and you are already far: far in your delusions, far away from Truth. He wanted to tell the Emperor: Are you looking at me externally? – the approach was such. – “Do you accept me as I am? Because God has accepted me as I am. How do you accept me?”. Absurd – he is absurd, illogical – such is Truth. Life itself has no logic, it is above logic – such is Truth.

And says Bodhidharma: Because I have come in order to destroy the world within you, to destroy the mind, time, creation.

Bodhidharma is a peculiar world, but very Pure if you study him in the right way, and very veiled. The tiniest criticism, and you can no longer understand him – you have missed it.

And the Master says: If you diverge with only a hundred millionth part from the norm, you can no longer understand me. – here the matter is of an even deeper measure.

OCCULT BUDDHISM

(Lecture 2)

All the practices you do are in your mind – and these are never True practices. – I will repeat: Whatever you practice, all the practices you do are in your mind. These are never True practices. – What is the main practice of the world, which people deviated from? Mastering the mind. This is the most important practice in the world: control. This means: control over thoughts, feelings, deeds and secret inner deeds. This is the Supreme practice.

This means also mastering the Word, because the Word is God. One slipped word (I will repeat, as before) – you can lose 20 years from your development, you can lose 20 000 years… Control! Bodhidharma observes this, he emphasises here. There is no Brotherhood here, no wheat diet*, no colour rays of light**.

*Translator’s note: Known as “Wheat regimen”- a wheat diet combined with spiritual practices given by the Master Peter Deunov to His then disciples over 100 years ago.

**Translator’s note: “The Testament of the Colour Rays of Light” – A collection of specially arranged Bible verses given by the Master Peter Deunov to His disciples in 1912.

The Master Himself told me that these things are obsolete, but for some people – they simply must do something. They wanted me to present a lecture on the colour rays of light, I said: There will be no such lecture. Because I have understood from the Master: On a Deep level Truth has no colours. These are limitations. Focus on Truth! Otherwise you can occupy yourself with many other lateral things: growing einkorn wheat etc – it will help with nothing. Not long ago in the interview on vegetarianism, there I said on the conference: Nothing can replace Love towards God: no vegetarianism, no pure eating… No pure eating! Something else is required because the times are intense! So.

Those who understand the Truth, they overcome evil because they only perceive Dao and the Truth: then their Truth swallows evil.

The most important practice is this. Everything else is only exercise, not practices. Breathing: breathe as much as you want – this is not a practice. If you have mastered your mind you are already No-mind, you are walking towards the Spirit, you are already Pure; then all other practices become Pure. So after this practice, afterwards – practice whatever you want, sense is already brought into it, and if you have the right attitude it will be in its proper place – otherwise you are playing mind games and exercises.

Those who do not understand Dao, the Truth – they swallow evil, i.e. they perceive evil. Evil will be imposed upon them. Those who understand the Truth, they overcome evil because they only perceive Dao and the Truth: then their Truth swallows evil.

The ones who do not understand seek the known; the ones who do understand seek the Unknown, and in this way they feed on Dao and the Truth.

The matter of mastering the mind is Sublime: a Sublime, Essential practice because only from here on, you embark towards Self-knowledge and Dao – this is the Great, Substantial matter. All other practices are games of an exceptionally cunning mind. Centuries and thousands of years of rituals, incense, ritual sacrifices – instead of sacrificing yourself… The Master says: You slaughter the sheep and you say “No problem” when the knife passes through its throat, but when the knife passes through your throat you say “Wait a minute, not so”.

This mind loves everything which is without Spirit and without Soul. It loves to do whatever, just so that the person may die and the mind can trick them. This mind – this is no philosophical matter (to solve), it is not for priests, not for scientists, because they are all in the mind themselves. The mind means the world and humanity, the fallen Adam. They are all in the mind and they cannot get out of it. This matter is Deeply occult and Essential, a Deeply Internal matter. Only Sages and Greatly Devoted ones master the mind and become Pure Spirits and Souls – Released Essences. Or, as the Atlanteans call it, they become Free Wind. Clever ones can talk of the mind for thousands of years – and not solve the Secret of the mind. The mind proves to be deeper than them and they are left enclosed within it.

What is the mind? The Master says: the snake of olden times, Satan. It is not easy to outgrow it – this is a Cherub. He wields such subtleties, that people have no notion. You can only overcome it through fierce Loyalty towards God – and in one moment, God will allow you to understand it. The Master says: What is the mind? Something very clever and well-played: an old, wise Cherub, a very experienced spirit – you can never overcome it easily, unless through fierce Loyalty towards God and a special and distinct attitude towards Truth. A half-attitude towards Truth does not help.

The Emperor asks Bodhidharma:

-I have done many good deeds, I have built temples, I have given food to many monks, money for translations of sacred books, etc.

Bodhidharma says:

-Let us examine this enormous ignorance…

Bodhidharma simply looked at him, disturbed him again and said to him:

-But how can you do these deeds? You have no Dharma, you do not have Truth within yourself. What deeds can you even do, as a whole?

Bodhidharma was laughing unrestrained. The Emperor was perturbed because he had a big entourage, right – he thought there will be a king’s reception, a friendly conversation. Bodhidharma is mercilessly honest. He directly says to the Emperor:

-You are truly a fool. You have not built anything, until you have built the Truth in yourself. You do not have Dao within you.

The Emperor was sweating and he asked:

-So then, is there anything holy or not?

Bodhidharma tells him:

-There is nothing holy and unholy, there is only Truth and Boundlessness!

Again, another blow against the ones who do not understand. I have explained, holiness is also a sin. Saints are to be pitied – sometime I will especially present that matter. And you will truly understand it, because this matter is explained through Divine logic and not through human things, in human ways. So!

Holiness and unholiness are mind games, just like good and evil. You truly are a real fool!

The Emperor was just stunned. If he could run away, he would, but he had never heard such direct Word. He had never met such a Master in his life. Bodhidharma is a fragrance from this Great Truth – but if you are not ready for this Truth then it is torture for you. Bodhidharma is Truth in action, Spirit in action. He has gone beyond the mind and all its numerous many thousands of games a long time ago.

The Emperor asks him:

-Who am I speaking with?

Bodhidharma says:

-I do not know.

I will explain. Because Bodhidharma comes from the Unknown, he says “I do not know”. He does not come from the known. All Wise Masters from Anciency, who know God, know Him exactly as the Unknown One – this is why this answer is very precise.

THE MIND

(Second idea for contemplation)

What Bodhidharma tells us of the mind:

When the mind lives in illusions – this is simply hell. – Some seek hell… The world has been hell for a very long time, the pit is something deeper – there, underground, with the demons.

Worldly minds constantly cause illusions. – This is a way of life, a way of thinking. In this way they naturally live in hell, regardless of whether they are in this world or the other one: hell continues. Because they are always… they remain in the impure mind – this is hell itself, you need not look for another hell. As Al Hallaj says: If you possess worldly thinking you do not need another failure – this is enough.

The mind has two manifestations – says Bodhidharma – pure and impure. – The impure, the worldly, the ordinary mind – this is simply madness. All kinds of desires, conflict, nonsense: today you are agitated, tomorrow you are sad, then you are joyful, pessimistic, optimistic, desperate and confused – the mind is the master of illusions, the impure mind – an exceptional master, a sculptor of delusions. Endless mind games… Here everything is the opposite of the Primary State, the Buddha State, of which we will speak later.

This is also called the No-Mind, i.e. your True nature, and whether you call it Spirit, Buddha, Christ – this is of no matter. This is all One… It is all Dao, this is the Primordial State.

The other mind, the Pure mind, the mastered mind –there is Immutability here, there is Reality, Liberation, Essence. Here the mind does not create any world because it does not create illusions: it is conquered. Here the mind is transformed: it has become Pure Consciousness, with no impurities. This is also called the No-Mind, i.e. your True nature, and whether you call it Spirit, Buddha, Christ – this is of no matter. This is all One… It is all Dao, this is the Primordial State.

And so: with their earthly mind the earthly people create more and more world for themselves, more illusions – building endless illusions, endless castles in the air. This is an old, dead game from thousands and millions of years and it renews with every incarnation. The impure mind walks from one hell into another. That, which is impure will never receive Peace: it has no such nature, Peace cannot be given to it. If you are silent, but you have not mastered the mind then your silence is also poor and vain. It is the unmastered mind that creates karma and reincarnates with its karma. The mortal ones create karma and they wrongly think that there is no retribution – but can they deny suffering? Because it will always chase them. You sow and you reap. How can you avoid this? You cannot. If you are sowing, you cannot. All those, who have fallen into their impure mind are dependent on their own karma. They are mortal and they pass through countless sorrows because they have darkened their own Essence.

The root of ignorance is the impure mind and from here countless evils originate. They sprout like leaves and branches – from the tree. Mortal people who do not understand the Truthful Practice and do good deeds – in their next deeds they will be blind, i.e. they are in blind karma. They do good but the mind remains impure and ignorant, i.e. nothing changes. Under a special type of pressure from God these people become monsters. They are otherwise polite, seem nice, right – and quiet – all of a sudden they turn out to be murderers and whatever else. If evil attacks these blindly good people their impure mind is seen immediately, but it was always inside them and in their blind good. Liberation from the mind is a big purification and mastering because heavy, painful reincarnations always await the impure mind.

SYMBOLIC BUDDHISM

(Lecture 3)

A disciple asks Bodhidharma:

-Buddha has allowed lighting incense?

Bodhidharma says to him:

-This has nothing to do with the material incense. This means To ignite the Truth within yourself. Because only in this way will you burn the evil inside you and your big impurity. And with the external lighting of incense you remain in ignorance.

So Bodhidharma tells him:

-Light the Truth within yourself, and the other incense – tie it up, it is false practice.

But people to this day still do not understand the Wisdom of Buddha, even today they interpret it literally. They use an external flame and pray for future blessing which they will never attain.

It is the same nonsense with flower offerings. Here the matter is, according to Bodhidharma: Are you offering virtues? – Because according to Buddha these True Virtues never wilt, but they blossom eternally – and only through these True Virtues do you truly receive many blessings, not because you want them, but because you are Pure. And if you think of hurting flowers – this is another type of ignorance, another impurity of the mind. Buddha never harms the forms of life, not even by mistake. Buddha has said: “If you pick a flower, even by mistake, suffering awaits you.” – Even by mistake. “How can you await a blessing – says Bodhidharma – when you have brought sorrow to the flowers?” The Master says the same: “When you pick a flower, it will wilt – in time you will also resemble a wilted flower.” Nothing more! When you pick a flower you have done a violation. This is the impure mind – and Bodhidharma says: You are in karma. – This is enough. One flower and you are already in karma.

Another matter, Buddha said: Ignite your lanterns. Buddha wanted to say, explains Bodhidharma: Acquire the True Knowledge, the Sublimely Pure Knowledge, because only it enlightens the Way. The light of the external lantern will never bring you Freedom. This is one elementary, simple lantern. Ignite within yourself the Power of Wisdom – this is a Flame, and the other, external one is only smoke, fume and illusion. With the external lantern for millions of years you are unable to disperse the darkness of karma, for millions of years you are unable to disperse the darkness in the consciousnesses of the impure minds. The external remains transitory… Whoever has become Buddha, they can light the lantern, the consciousness of others… They can pass the Truth on to others – and this is Dharma, the Great Law. In this way others become lanterns – and in their turn can ignite other consciousnesses. Buddha has ignited millions of people and there is no need for baptism at all here, because this is another form of ignorance. Simply – Life within Truth. In this way all the Light is transmitted.

Buddha has also said: Build monasteries! Bodhidharma explains: This was also misunderstood.  – But in the impure minds everything is murky. And Bodhidharma explains: Monastery means to build your own, personal discipline. This is the idea of the monastery. This means that if you have such discipline you do not need an external monastery – you are already in the monastery, you are already in Truth. If you do not have discipline, in the monastery you are not in the monastery. But all these impure minds roam some monasteries and wander in vanity. This is why Priest Bogomil said, time ago, of churches: Clever foxes (of the monks) – they hid away in the monasteries, they ran from the world but they understood nothing.

The idea of fasting: this means an exceptional decisiveness to pursue Purity. This is guarding your mind from any pollution – this is fasting. Otherwise you may fast as much as you want to – not a problem, but it will not solve anything. So: You must guard your mind against any pollution! If you do not purify yourself, fasting is false – you remain again in the impure mind, in the fall. If you feed on delusions what sort of fasting will help you? Fasting cannot help for delusions, for delusions there is no blessing.

Bows have also remained misunderstood – because what deserves bowing is only the Pure actions of the person. The rest is some fitness programme, some exercise: one thousand bows, three thousand bows – a tragedy. “Whoever understands Pure actions – says Bodhidharma – they follow the Truth”. And bows are from the fallen minds. To bow means reverence and humility towards Truth – this is bowing. External bows always speak of ignorance of the mind: these bows are poses in the world. Of course, a person with deep respect and reverence, this is another matter, but they instill Heart there, i.e. there is no mind. Wherever the Pure Heart acts, there the mind cannot act. This vain thinking means heavier and heavier reincarnations. Only discernment frees the person from evil deeds. The more you master yourself, the more you purify yourself.

And says Bodhidharma: Must you look for meaning? – Again a Deep answer: No. While you are looking for meaning you will find nothing. – This is philosophical delusions of a different kind. But while you are purifying yourself, you yourself will become sense itself more and more because sense is your Buddha nature. It starts from Purity upwards. There are about six degrees, but Purity is the lowest degree of the Spiritual world, this is where you start. This is the meaning – purification, your Buddha nature. People foolishly occupy themselves with building temples and statues but they are not able to ascend into their Buddha nature, in their own Truth, in their own Essence.

THE BUDDHA STATE

(Third idea for contemplation)

Some people look for origin. Bodhidharma says: Truth has no origin. – The Absolute never had an origin. It created other things, they originated from it: Gods etc, they have an origin. The Absolute, the Sublime Truth, never had an origin. It has always been. Truth has no origin: It has always been, it always will be. And what has an origin, it has descended in order to learn that there is no origin: there is only Dao, there is only Boundlessness – Sublime Truth. Beings of Dao, of the Truth, descend among people in order to explain what No-Origin and Buddha nature is.

The Buddha State is the Primordial State, the State of No-Origin. It is before any origin. There is no seeking Dao here, there is no seeking God here even: there is only disappearance, or as Sufis call it: Fana – dissolving into God – you become a Primordial Being. You still have independence, your Higher Self, but of a completely different kind, i.e. now God in you is your Higher Self, and not your self, which is on a lower level. I am speaking of your Supreme Self – it is on a high level. Here we are speaking of the instilling of God, which is much more than the Higher self and this is why Christ says “Into Your hands I commend my Spirit”. Yes, there is the Truth – in God. So there is only disappearance, as I said, and dissolving.

Dao is bottomless and nameless. Origin has an end. Dao has no bottom, no origin – not a beginning, not an end. Dao is boundless, free and independent. The Truth within you is Deeper than any miracle and It surpasses the whole history of the world.

I have explained: the word history means a fall. We are before history, as Spirits, way before it. This is precisely why the Atlanteans erase their biography, erase themselves – because they return, they wish to return into Truth and not in some world. They give up on names because one person has hundreds and thousands of names in all their incarnations. In the end, which one is their name? Who are their parents? Which is their country? Only one: the Boundlessness – this is their country, this is their Homeland. This is where millions of Atlanteans have returned to, millions of Sufis, etc.

There is no seeking Dao here, there is no seeking God here even: there is only disappearance, or as Sufis call it: Fana – dissolving into God – you become a Primordial Being.

Through the Truth you are in the Buddha State, in Dao, and there is no bigger miracle than this. A miracle is a poor event compared to the person of Truth. Your totally purified mind is your Buddha nature. This means that this entirely purified mind is your liberation. Here you are not waiting for “Judgment day”, you are not even waiting for Resurrection. You are within yourself, free. If you have the Truth and live in It you need no other salvation. This free mind, this is the Way itself, the True Way, and this is why they say: What is Tathagata (i.e. Buddha, the Buddha-Essence)? The one Who comes from nowhere and is going nowhere – they are always within Themselves. They are themselves – this is the Ancient, Primordial Buddha State. In the bible this is called, and spoken as: “I am Who I am”.

What is Buddha? The One Who has reached Dharma, the Great Completeness, the Truth. What is Dharma, or the Truth? That which has never originated and it never ends. This is why It is called Dharma or The Greatest Law, The Law of the Universe and The Law beyond the Universe. All those who do not comply with it will always reincarnate in heavy karma – regardless of whether they believe in karma and retribution: this is of no matter.

The Mind of Buddha – this is the No-Mind, i.e. the Pure Spirit, the Primordial: in this way He has entered into the Boundlessness. Even while He was on Earth, He was in the Boundlessness. He comes with the Boundlessness in Himself, He lives in the Boundless like Lao Tzu and He returns to the Boundless. He was not in the present because He is deeper than the present: He was in the Boundlessness. Because if you are in the present but you are not in Truth, you are far from Dao.

Whoever practices the Truth, they do not act deeds: they act Purity, they act Voidness – this is the Sublime Practice. Said another way: Whoever practices God, they do not need any other practices – absolutely no other practices.

The Buddha State – this is the Absolutely Pure Consciousness which does not allow even the smallest evil to arise in itself. And the Master says it: If you have even microscopic evil inside you, you are already in death. – this evil may become big. Here (in the Buddha State) the person is awakened both within and without.

The Buddha State is the state of Striking Awareness. Bodhidharma says: I follow the One Who has never been born, Who has never walked the earth, Who has never spoken through words – but through presence… – he follows Him, the Truthful Buddha – …and everything else which you call “history” is nothing more than a dream, dreamt by the people asleep. – The ones who have not seen Dao, i.e. the Truth, in themselves, are meditating in vain. (I am not saying to not meditate – let them meditate, but reduce meditation to a few minutes and devote themselves to Truth because in time meditation will outsmart them – it will turn out so that it will not help them).

The Buddha State – this is the Primordial Human, the Pure Spirit. Whether it is in a body or without one – this is Spirit. If Buddha had said… if some worldly people had asked Him “Do you believe in spirits?”, he would have said: Here I am, in front of you! – but the earthly person cannot see anything. So this is Pure Spirit, the Primordial Spirit. It resembles a void space, it resembles the Boundlessness – and this is why people wonder at such a person: are they here, are they not. It is so. They are both here and they are not.

Buddha says: Because people are deluded by their mind, their actions are endless reincarnations. – No faith can save the delusional person, i.e. the impure mind. Their faith only helps them enter into new, even heavier reincarnations. The Buddha State, i.e. the Deeply mastered mind – this is the Primordial Spirit. Even in Anciency it was not in Purity. Purity is a much lower level. Of course, then it descends into Purity to do something, but it is much deeper than Purity.  But it was – such Spirit – it always has been within the Truth, within the Great Law. It has lived in the Great Spirit, in Brahman, in God.

MARTIAL ARTS

(Lecture 1)

The True martial art is resolving the primary question: Returning into the Primordial Life. Whoever has achieved the Essence, they do not manifest: they are in the Way and have success in everything. They live like everyone else but have nothing in common with them. Such a person lives in Pure Joy – they do not even have a choice. They live in Pure Joy and within it there is no gain and loss. Such a Sage is something Truthful – and when you see them, you have complete Trust in them. They create relations of silent Trust.

The person of Trust is a Master of life. You may have faith, but still not have this total Trust. They apply their power in an absolutely nonviolent way. In Daoism this is called The Great Way. No violence! They only share – and others listen to them; they never impose. This is The Great Way. The Great Way means Completeness coming into realisation.

Today, as a whole, martial arts are rules and methods – and lack of knowledge of the Essence. The Essence is not there, Wisdom is not there, because Truth is lost. There are rules for health: techniques, methods etc.

In time we will talk about another special martial art: Wing Chun. It is something very special, beyond arts. It is such an art that it does not need martial arts – but they have turned it into techniques and methods, too. But it started from a nun who had the ability to secretly observe life. She saw the Secret energy of spring; and she saw that when spring comes, winter energy has no resistance: it has nothing to show in return. And she… We will talk about her in time, because within her is the martial art and later it was distorted as well.

This Essence, this wondrous Completeness remains yet unresolved – it is a secret even to many martial arts teachers. This Completeness does not belong to techniques and created things, nor to the created world.

People who look for some sort of gain in martial arts – they are lamentable people, they never achieve Completeness and Unity.

The True Warrior knows that everything is in its right place, but everything that is human has wandered off the Right Path.

Completeness is a Great Virtue – without any evil.

The Supreme martial art is hidden in Pure moral traits. The True Warrior does not let some mere pleasures, gains and profits capture them and divert them from the Great Way.

The Samurai say: One who is successful in good times, bears misfortune in difficult times – this means in Truthful times.

The most secure support of a person is their own Virtues. High Virtues are the strongest internal fist.

When you have an aim in your life, you are no longer without protection.

The martial art is important because of Purposefulness, because of mastering yourself and because of the Way of discipline. If this discipline reaches all the way to the end, a Pure energy and Power is achieved – this is the Goal. Then all techniques fall behind–Pure Spirit fights.

“To master” means to put your internal powers in order.

The partner is never an adversary. They allow us to work on ourselves. They are never a foe, an enemy.

Life does not forgive carelessness.

It is considered that fear is also a saviour – but if you understand it. Fear shows that you have to find your internal Way towards Yourself – and there exactly is the Goal. The Goal is achieving Truth through experiences. Of course, after one peculiar experience you will again be looking for the Truth, but now in a different way. You will have something given by Truth – and this is Completeness.

It is important to understand that if you have searched for Truth in the right way, you will be transformed: you will be Initiated, you will be Truthful. The Truth is within, in the forbidden Depths – and one has to originate from these Depths.

Every martial art is only a means – and in this intent the Mastery is concealed: it is a means and intent. And in this intent – if the intent is Pure! – you will find the Mastery. If it is not Pure, you will train and train.

What you have to remove from yourself is the unclear thinking.

The Good Warrior is never combative – this is a sign, a diagnosis. The Good Warrior is never angry. They do not have this ability, to be angered.

MARTIAL ARTS

Continued

(First idea for contemplation)

Qi energy has to turn into Shen, i.e. energy has to turn into Spirit.

When energy hardened, it became matter. The Goal, though, is Completeness. And Completeness – this is the Eternally Enlightened Life. And this is why the Masters say: Deliver a blow to your flaws, make them lose individuality – this is the Way of the True martial art.

The Art of the Warrior is a peculiar attitude towards the Void, towards the Boundlessness. In this Pure thinking something Superb and Great moves. This is what handles all enemies, all obstacles – no exceptions. It handles everything, but follows its own laws.

The Void, or the Boundlessness – this is something more alive than all forms, because all forms originated from It; and whoever knows It is filled with Love for all things existing.

Fighting – against anything – is a sickness. The fighting itself! I have said: life is not a fight; life is not questions and answers. Life is Depth, but you have to enter into that Depth.

The way you express yourself is also a type of martial art. It is also a Path that leads you towards Truth – or, if you do not express yourself in the right way, leads you away from Truth.

The True martial art is defined by the Secret appearance of your behaviour.

The Secret of martial arts is concealed deep within the treasure of the Pure Heart. Within the Pure Heart the Secret tradition is locked. For example Morihei, later we will talk about him – he is simply an old disciple of the White Brotherhood who also descended to show these things.

The right striving increases the Inner Sight.

The Master is a Supreme Sage, but among ordinary people they live like a buried Sage: they conceal themselves.

A Sage teaches not knowledge, but the Truthful, Enlightened Life.

It is all in the qualities of the Inner energy.

The Pure Wisdom in martial arts is never mental: it is a purely Spiritual Approach.

On the oppposite side there is a Master Spirit gazing upon you, not a person.

The Spirit is an escape from the enchanted circle of createdness. This is why the martial art has to free you from the mind, or from the big enslavement. And this is why the Way is such: Find within you the Essencethis is overcoming the mind.

Pure energy is beyond the world and beyond Creation. It can enter the world, but it is outside of it.

I am remembering something here. For example, if someone is sick, what is the sign that they are to be cured? It depends on what energy is directed towards them: if it is human – there will be no real healing; if it is Divine energy, then it already does not matter what doctors and specialists say. I will say this in a different way: if a person is sick but they have a tremendous desire to live – then even modern medicine cannot stop them; if they are in complete desperation, then even God cannot help them – God has concealed Himself. So: it depends on this tremendous desire and, of course, on choosing the Path of purification. Upon this depends what energy will be directed – whether it will be healing. Otherwise no money is going to help, no medicine, no doctors.

The Pure energy is that energy, which turns into Spirit. An enormous thirst for purification is needed so that you reach Self-knowledge – the Living Reality. It is exactly here that Completeness is born. It has been searching and waiting for you for a long time. It has waited for the Truth within the person – this Truth – in order to ripen. And then Completeness appears, it forms from the inside: it is there, but it forms specifically now. Completeness cannot be explained to the external, to the created beings.

AIKIDO

(Lecture 2)

Morihei – the main Master, as I said, is a disciple of the White Brotherhood. At the same time he is a great Master and a Being with Great striving, an extraordinary striving. This is a Being with Deep Spirituality and big diligence. He got up early at 5 AM, he greeted the Sun and he prayed constantly.

He says: My altar is the Divine. I believe in the total Unity with the Divine.

Upon one meeting with God he became a changed man. Truly, when you seek Him for long in the right way, upon a meeting you become a completely changed person.

And so, he gained the Pure Secret, the Pure and Concealed Intuition. Not some hunches, not some half-feelings, but the Concealed accurate Intuition – because the Intuition is never wrong. Hunches are wrong – the Intuition is never wrong. He could see his enemies internally – this is how he became a great and undefeatable Master.

He says: The Right Way to know the Great Spirit is to become One with It.

Morihei appeared as a man, but he was Spirit in action. He has achieved the most Supreme level of Pure energy. He possessed  inhuman strength and despite that – very fragile health. Odd combination, but it was so.

A Great Master with great Humility – and he says: I am but a mere guidepost, and you learn for yourself.

When his end was near, he said: God is calling me. Some of his last words were: Love is for all the world.

The power of Morihei was in the so called Kuki Shinito – this is not explained, but it approximately means Secret exercises: they are never shown on display. Approximately the following can be said: fasting, prayers, purification, a deep realisation of all techniques and an attainment of Secret exercises without them being expressed. There are such Secret mudras – they will never enter the books.

God, God’s Love, has no opponents – there is no effort, it defeats without effort.

And so: Aikido.

Aikido is non-resistance, because whoever resists, always wins – and this is also a defeat. Morihei says: This non-resistance, this non-attacking is acknowledged as the most difficult in the world, but it is the most conquering.

I can say this in a different way: God, God’s Love, has no opponents – there is no effort, it defeats without effort. No one can defeat it. There is no need for God to make even the slightest gesture. God simply has no opponents, because He is a total lack of attack, a non-resisting – but in the Purest and Supreme way.

Aikido is a difficult Art. It is an inner thing: this is Zen in motion, i.e. Pure Spirit in motion. There is no mind, ho arms, no body.

In Aikido the calm consciousness is the Eternal place of victory. This means: this is a Pure consciousness which can be defeated by nothing – it does not depend on losses and victories.

Aikido is the martial art of Love. It is a manifestation of the Creator of the Universe, but He has to have allowed you to enter into Him and to know Him – then this martial art becomes Supreme Mastery. He has to have allowed you to merge with Him. Said in a different way: only a great Purity accomplishes Eternal meditation.

The expression of an aikido ka must be Love: not aggression, not attack, but Love – from there every victory starts.

The person of Love has not physical strength, but strength of energy – Spiritual strength. Aikido is the Way of energy through Love.

The Truth about Aikido is not in argument, not in the fight, but in Love – because Love resolves the Essential things.

The person of Love always has a Secret within them.

And Morihei says: Do not look for the differences, but understand what is mutual.

To purify yourself – this is the Way.

There is an old saying: The God of martial arts never kills.

The meaning in Aikido is Pure Spiritual Travel.

People with impure intentions and malicious thoughts – they are defeated beforehand. It does not matter how they train: they are defeated beforehand. They have started with a wrong move. They are defeated – for the simple reason that they are outside of Love.

The Essence of God is Love – and everyone who is within Love, is led by God.

And Morihei says: Attack resistance with Love.

SOFTNESS

Continued

(Second idea for contemplation)

The second idea from Aikido is Softness. You have heard that Lao Tzu says: Softness defeats the hard. Water defeats the rock. As much as the rock resists, the persevering drop penetrates it. This means that the drop is harder: within itself it has something from the True Ancient Warrior – it is Penetration.

When I perform Aikido – says Morihei, – I forget myself.

Radiating Love and Softness is the victory over any situation.

Aikido is a Teaching not of how to defeat someone, but of how to overpower yourself, how to overcome yourself.

This is why our last book, one of the best books we have published, is about the so called Divine Teaching about overcoming the dark side within you*. A collected, concentrated book from about 90 books of the Master – one of the best things, by the way…

*Translator’s note: The exact title of the published book is “The Divine Teaching of the Dark side we must enlighten”

Softness is a door of the Supreme world. It is a Guardian, and a Guard, and at the same time it is also Strictness. Softness is a thing of the Boundlessness. Softness is a Spiritual Power which has conquered the mind – it is not mental power. Hardness is a power of the mind – Softness is a Spiritual Power. The person of softness knows when to be soft and when to be strict – meaning when to defend the Principles of Truth. A mental person does not know.

In Softness a very strict Truth is working. In Softness, there flows a Supreme, Spiritual neutralising power. This Softness is something deeper than any practice. It is an art, and practices are only training.

Softness is at the same time strict and very gentle. Aikido is not a fight, it is not a victory – it is Softness.

Non-resistance – this leads to mastering yourself, and this is where the True Warrior is traveling towards: they are a Master of themselves.

Here I will say this, just by the way: Whoever desires to rule over others, they will be ruled over by dark forces. Whoever rules over themselves, in time God will become their Master. But whoever wants to rule over others, they will find their own master – said in another way.

Aikido is not a fight, it is not a victory – it is Softness.

The one who has mastered themselves has a Supreme Power working within them, which turns into the Real Warrior, the so called True Warrior.

In Aikido there is no rivalry: everything is victory over one’s self.

Aikido is the art of pacifying everything, and Softness is a peculiar kind of Strictness – like Evil is a peculiar kind of Good.

Softness is Primordial, while aggression is created and it is something external. Aggression is secondary: it is a failed consciousness, it is something like a black hole – Softness is Primordial. Aggression has a beginning, Softness has no beginning.

And the Master says: Softness is a Great quality.

The one who is soft can influence even the hardest and harshest person, even the angriest person.

Softness is a peculiar type of mighty weapon.

And the Master says: Softness is strength of character. Without Softness life is heavy.

There is a softness though – says the Master – of mud. In this softness a person perishes – this is the misunderstood softness.

Softness is set in motion by, according to the Master, two qualities: Graciousness  and Reasonableness.

The True Warrior is something internal. Essence is what is fighting within them, and not them. Essence is the sharpest Sword – this means Pure Spirit.

Aikido is before all else, a Way of life. And here exactly Love acts – and Love, according to the Master, this is God in action. Within Love God has provided our protection – but this is Love as a Principle. Not human love, not the warped love – but Love as a Principle.

And the Master says: There is only one security – this is God within the person.

ZEN

(Lecture 3)

Zen is the natural, Primordial Nature. Zen is a Belief in our Primordial Superb Nature. As you know, the Church says that in the past we were all innately sinful. This is completely wrong. Zen says that we were all innately immaculate – we just have to go back. And if we come from that point of view, we will strive to act as impeccably as possible.

Zen is the Ancient form of our life – this is what Zen means.

Zen says: Where is the answer of life? The answer is within your Absolute sense of Peace.

If you have reached the point where you have nothing to ask God – you have achieved Zen. If you have even the smallest question, microscopic – you will wait: Zen has not yet come.

Zen – this is simply an Awakeness and Lightness. Here the Awakened one lives naturally within their Eternity. They do not seek it – they live it.

Imagine that to such a person of Zen, goes someone from the Church (it has happened) to preach to them. Not only is it futile… It is just stupid to not be able to feel… Like when they asked the Master – one evangelist: Do you know the Gospel? – No, I live it – what is there to know about! – There is no need for knowledge at all…

One man went to a Zen Master to convert him to the faith and the Master said: Who is your Master? – Christ. – What does Christ say? -Well, so and so… -Enough! He thinks like me. – That’s it! No need for more conversations, no need for any excess words.

According to Zen all that is Pure must be respected, and the impure must simply be purified.

Zen naturally lives in the Golden Age. It does not wait for it, but it lives in the Golden Age, i.e. within Truthfulness – this is the Golden Age. In a different way, if I have to say this: Truthfulness – i.e. in the Timeless, in the Eternal, in the Boundless; and others search for it and call it “Promised land”… well for some it is still only promised.

In this Zen Awakening – there is the only real education. Because the Awakened one acts according to the laws of Truth and to the laws of Peace.

For the awakened ones, Zen – this is the meaning of life. The Way of Zen is the Self-awakening of the own Truthfulness, the own Essence – which means that Zen does not make this mistake of waiting for a Saviour, because it will be too late. You have to save yourself – otherwise you will be waiting for a very long time. If the Second Coming comes or the Third Coming – you will regret.

Zen is very direct. Its nature is the nature of God: very simple, very honest – so simple, you may not understand what it wants to say to you.

Zen acts like the Truth.

Zen – this is the method that leads to Self-knowledge.

Zen is very direct. Its nature is the nature of God: very simple, very honest – so simple, you may not understand what it wants to say to you.

Zen is the same as selling water by the wellspring – an easy task! I want to say: Zen is very clear and very elusive. It is both clear and concealed.

And so, The Wisdom of Zen:

The most important thing – according to Zen – is to figure out what the most important thing is.

When you are deluded and full of doubt even a thousand books of sacred scriptures are not enough. A thousand books of sacred scriptures are not enough when you are impure and deluded. When you have achieved an understanding of things, even one word – not writings – even a single word is too much. See how Zen talks: one word, one hint, one unspoken silence – and that is already too much.

Not knowing how close Truth is, people are looking for it far away. Zen says: What a pity.

A disciple said to his Master: I am very discouraged, in total desperation! He said: Encourage others – and you will be encouraged.

The seekers of Truth find the Quiet of the Way, the Quiet of their own Eternal Path.

The enemy, according to Zen – this is ourselves, not the world surrounding us.

Our fulfilled wishes do not give us security, they do not give us this Simplicity which is Primordial and is also Clarity.

Complicatedness is a false state of being. A person who has lost the simple understanding – they have lost a lot. If they cannot understand the simple things – this means the person is in trouble, it might be too late to help them.

Simplicity is beautiful – says Zen, – and complicatedness is in a rut.

You have heard this saying: “Do not make an elephant out of a fly’’.*

*Translator’s note: An equivalent of ‘’Making a mountain out of a molehill’’

Some people make a few elephants and a few whales out of a fly. But from these elephants not only must you make a fly, but the fly must also disappear. This is the Right Way.

Simplicity is a Sword of wind.

Purity is a voice composed of Silence.

Zen is a Manuscript of Light. There are no sacred scriptures here, in Zen. Just Simplicity is enough – it is the Clarity which is the Right Way. There is no need for any authority, any holy books. So, Zen is a Manuscript of Light – a Pure Scripture with no impurities, which is why it is so difficult to understand: because it is so simple, like pure water. A brother said to me: But I do not understand what is this – Purity. – I used to talk to him about Purity, he said: I do not understand. – Okay, if I give you water from a swamp and water from a wellspring? – He still said nothing. It’s okay!

Within Zen is the Peace. There Enlightenment is found as well. Only Peace can see the Boundlessness – and naturally at that. You cannot travel the Way until you have become the Way itself, Simplicity itself. Walking on the Way, you are walking within yourself – not somewhere. There is no sensibility in walking somewhere: you are walking within yourself – this is the Way. The question is, have you started walking in the Right Way.

In what is the Way? Zen says: in everyday, healthy sense. Note this: no need for teachings, books, authorities, writings: the everyday healthy sense. You have it written in your heart. Even if you do not have it, you still have it.

The ultimate purpose of Zen is achieving the Self.

The Zen gaze is very peculiar. It sees Beauty even in the ruined life. Note this: Beauty in the ruined life too! It is there. Whether you will see it depends on whether you are in Zen.

Zen sees Beauty even in disappointments. They are full of charm! Sometime I might explain this in particular. Now I am saying what Zen says.

Zen sees Beauty in failures as well, because in Zen everything is uniquely beautiful – uniquely beautiful:  such Beauty cannot be repeated any more.

Zen lives in the undying Light. And this is the Bible verse: ‘’Hallowed be Thy Name’’*.

*Translator’s note: In Bulgarian, the word for ‘’hallowed’’ and the word for ‘’light’’ have the same origin.

Here this verse is fulfilled completely. It is not interpreted, it is not understood, it is not practiced – you simply live in it.

ZEN

Continued

(Third idea for contemplation)

What is the Way? Chuang Tzu says: Everyday life is the Way.  Meaning: You do not look for it in books – your everyday life is the Way.

What is Zen? Chuang Tzu says: Can a cloud be nailed to the sky? Meaning: Your natural Travelling – this is the Way.

You will not be punished for your anger – you will be punished by your anger. So says Zen. So: You will not be punished for your anger, but by your anger.

Do not let others confuse you.

If there is no ego, there is no worry.

What has been left unspoken is also important.

When passions are under control, external temptations are weak. No matter how much they tempt you – they are weak. If they come – welcome! I say: rob their strength! This is why they come.

Human planning is always hopeless. As a whole, all human plans, including security, are something very pitiful. Because, it comes to mind: A reasonable person never tries to secure themselves. They never look for security: God secures them. But they know Who they have devoted themselves to, as a Principle – they do not have this idea at all, it is not their job. According to the Master it is the task of Supreme Beings. But, it is asked: Are you within your Primordial Way? This is according to the Master, Love, Wisdom and Truth. If you are within this Way, the Master says: You have been secured 250 billion years ago. This matter has been resolved a very long time ago, it is not of the present.

If you understand the Truth, your home becomes a Sacred Sanctuary. So says Zen.

To find that seeking happiness can bring you evil is perceptiveness. Again, we understand that happiness is a wrong aim. Truth is the aim, not happiness. And whether or not happiness is going to chase you afterwards… because if you become a person of Truth, happiness will chase you. Whether or not you accept it – this is another matter… But it is not to be accepted. Happiness can truly bring you evil, if you go down that road. Like when a daughter asked her father: I want to be happy. – You will be, my daughter. You will get married, you will be happy – but it will be too late.

The slight change in the way of thinking leads to an unexpected change of circumstances. So: the slightest change in the way of thinking leads to a change in the circumstances.

There, where you are – there exactly is your life. And there is Zen.

The Place of Self-knowledge – this is the message of the blade of grass in Zen.

The blade of grass in Zen is a manifestation of fine energy – the concealed Nature beyond the gaze of the world. The harsh wind breaks down the trees, but the blade of grass is joyful and dances, as if it is out on a walk. So says Zen. It withstands, it plays. It merges with the wind and the wind cannot do anything to harm it. The tree is showing off, it wants to have a special place – on a high street – there it is cut down, and in the forest it is broken down. The wind breaks down big trees and the blade of grass breaks the wind – i.e. the wind’s illusion.

And so, big things – religions, sciences, political parties – will be demolished: they are trees, and the blade of grass – this is Zen. This is that quiet, humble, Truthful and Sacred Life: it will withstand. The rest will wait for a Second Coming and whatever else – it will withstand. This is not about an external survival, but about an inner Centre. The Place of Self-knowledge – this is the message of the blade of grass in Zen.

A Zen Master is not interested in whether there is a God or not, is there Heaven, is there Hell, is there afterlife. They do not waste their time with those things. They are aimed only towards Truth – and it teaches them silently and introduces them into the Great Completeness. Is there a God, is there not – does not matter: they accomplish the Goal. No arguments, no conversations, they are focused on Truth. And if there is something else, it must come after Truth. So says Zen: if there is anything else, it must come after Truth – and, of course, God is there. Whatever the Truth says – that is what Zen believes.

In Zen, God is not a person – but Boundlessness Itself, the wondrous Life itself: natural, simple, honest, meaningful Life. This is the Wondrous Life which is always in the Boundlessness. Here it is in the Boundlessness, and in the Afterlife it is again in the Boundlessness. Reality, according to Zen, is not the person, but it is the Boundlessness.

In Zen there is no Creator God and Divine Beginning – this is stupid and unthinkable in Zen.

Zen does not argue: it lives within the Unthinkable, it lives within God without arguing about Him and without talking about Him.

The West is thinking, and Zen is not thinking. Zen is Pure Spirituality, Pure civilisation, living within the Spirit of Truth. While there is thinking, there are contradictions – there is God and there is a Devil. In Zen there is neither God, nor Devil, but only Completeness, Truth and Boundlessness. This is the approach of Zen. There are never contradictions there. When Truth comes, Zen says: contradictions simply disappear. The West thinks in contradictions, with its mind. Zen thinks with its Spirit and lives within its Spirit.

In Zen all thinking has disappeared: it has merged with Peace, it is buried. Zen is inside the Great No Beginning, the other name of God, the other name of Truth.

MARTIAL ARTS

(Lecture 1)

The person is born from the chaos of life and this is why in the world there is a lot of chaotic presence, but here Great Masters descend who are not from chaos, but from the Void, the Boundlessness. They have no future, they have no past, they are Ancient, Boundless beings – outside of this system of past and future. Here the person merges with the first Createdness, the Eternally Shining Thread called “The Great Way”, “The Ancient Way”. The Secrecy of the martial arts is one and one only: to become a True person – a person of Dao, a person of God. Those who do not have a special attitude towards Truth remain at a lower level called discipline, training, effort, etc.

Every occurrence is important, it comes in order for you to  overcome yourself and with this the person is enriched. For a true Master of martial arts the Essential thing regarding you is, is Truth precious to you? Not training, not discipline, the most important, the most Essential thing: How dear is Truth to you?

The Wise Master is a creator of the Essential in the person, they are a creator of Dao. First they have created it within themselves and with this they want to create it in the disciple, too.

Only Reality within us is the True Warrior, i.e. our Spirit, our Soul.

The Wise Master knows why people live after death as well – because they have missed Dao and so they live to be born again until they know It. Because Dao is not known through discipline only, Dao is known with Truth. And until then people will be living in the afterlife and descending again until they reach the Dao Essence.

The True Tradition – the True Tradition teaches you to live in the Essence of things.

The victory over life and death is a matter of Purified energy which turns into power, an overcoming power.

Tai Chi is a distinct dance of Life energy, the flow of your Solar Identity. This is your Divine Current. Every person has it. This is a wondrous harmony and Completeness that you have achieved with your own self. This is the Divine Current – if you have succeeded in attaining this Completeness. We are a part of this Great and Superb Completeness.

Purity within us – this is the Ancient, True Warrior. Otherwise we are only fighters who win and lose. Fighters have no connection to the Source, only the Pure Energy is the connection.

Such a thing has happened at the stakes, when in November we will be speaking of the Bogomils… Only a small diversion. At the stakes the beings of Love are summoned. Those who are summoned at the stake are determined for Entering into God and for a Rebirth in God. All others were punished to remain in the world and in the mind and to wonder what kind of world this is. Of course, without God it really is a wonder what kind of world it is at all.

Fighters have no connection to the Source, only the Pure energy, as I said, is the connection.

Humility – according to martial arts, Humility is Pure Chi, Pure energy, and because of this it is a death for evil. You cannot fight a person who has defeated themselves.

The person has to wield their energy, teach it, educate it, unfold it and purify it, because this is a Path towards your Self.

The True Warrior achieves the goal – Self-knowledge. And this means finding an entrance towards the Depths within yourself. And this place that you can reach within yourself is amazing – this is your Divinity, your Boundlessness. And then you start living like it, like the Boundlessness.

If you remember the command of the Atlantean Master, which we said years ago: “Never violate the Boundlessness within you”. This means: do not have such an act with which you violate, impede the Boundlessness. In here, you can see your Shining, your Uncreatedness – though inside the state of Being, – your Ancientness.

The Heart – the Heart is an Ancient Temple and within it is the Power of the True person and the True Warrior.

A Heart, which is a Temple, it is also a Sword. The Heart itself is Pure Spiritual Power.

The True Warrior – this is returning home, returning into the Boundlessness and this is attaining Dao, the so called True Way. When the warrior is in Dao, in the Boundless, they surpass all other states.

THE TRUE WARRIOR

(First idea for contemplation)

The True Warrior is an exceptional seeker of the Way, of Dao. They forget all, that others remember, in order to remember that, all others forget. The True Warrior is, because of this, a Sage, because they have tasted from the fine Substance of Dao. They feed only on very fine energies, they catch them with their Voidness, with their Boundlessness.

The Way of the True Warrior is a Fire, which burns along its way all lateral things, all attachments. This is what has happened at the stake: a total death of evil, of the smallest evil. A complete destruction of worldly thinking. This is another civilisation, another belief which we will uncover more and more.

When the Heart has long exercised in Purity, it returns into the Ancient Tradition called “chzhen”, i.e. Truthfulness.

The True Warrior is a loyal Spirit. Life is of little importance compared to possessing a loyal Spirit.

Lao Tzu says: Whoever has attuned to the Void, they clean the dark mirror within themselves. So, whoever has attuned to the Void they clear the dark consciousness from themselves.

The power of the True Warrior is soft and yielding, notice: like water – no one can defeat the water and wind.

Truthfulness is the Absolute Rhythm of the Universe, the Eternal Current of life.

The Way of the Warrior is the Way of self-achievement in Truth.

The Power of the True Warrior is soft and yielding, notice: like water – no one can defeat the water and wind. Soft and yielding, but it can wipe out everything in its path. This softness can wipe out everything in its path.

The Enlightened consciousness itself appears as an act which is above all other acts.

According to the Sages: the professional does not achieve the Goal, the Sage achieves it. The True Martial art is not a profession, it is Unconditional Love. A profession is not Love. Like some have turned faith into a profession. This is Love towards God, it has nothing to do with a profession. A profession is not Love and because of this it is an enemy of acquiring Truth. The professional does many things and, according to the Daoists, Truth is in not-doing.

I will explain: the Sage does not talk, does not act, does not think and with this they are different from other people. They reside in the Essence, in God, in Dao, in the Omnipresent. In here they become incapable of acting and doing. Here Dao does things. Not them but Dao does things. Dao does them in them and this means that the Void, the Boundlessness is an Eternal victor.

Similar is the Bogomils’ trust at the stake – to stand before the stake with an exceptionally big Humility and to let God decide – this is total Faith, total Trust. Whatever He decides is the best and He makes no mistake.

THE RIGHT ATTITTUDE

(Lecture 2)

The warrior is a warrior because they have tamed their ego, i.e. their death. Where there is ego, there is evil – it might be small, might be big, this is all the same – death.

In the Right Attitude there is no ego, no death and no sin, either. Such a thing says Christ too, in the apocryphs of Peter. Peter asks him: Is there sin? – Christ says: There is no sin, but if you act in a bad way, sin has already entered. – It does not exist, but if you act you already bring it in, you become a door.

The Right Attitude is the creator of the Eternal human. This attitude is not of the world but it happens in the world.

In the Right Attitude Eternity is preserved. This is why the Master says: One mistake, one wrong act and your whole philosophy ends. – Everything ends. This is the Teaching of the Toltecs as well. So much training Impeccability that in the end you become incapable… This same thing Christ learned with the Essenes. And in the end, the Essenes Master says of him: He achieved such a degree of Supremacy that he became incapable of doing wrong. – Such sacred acts, such approach – the ability to make mistakes is already lost.

The Right Attitude is not of the world, as I said. The Essence, Dao, is and is found in the Right Attitude. And in the Essence there is no death, no ego, no randomness.

The Right Attitude is the Eternal Attitude and the earthly attitude is sent here, to Earth, in order to learn. The Earthly attitude is sick, calculating, it is always looking for gain, and not for Truth. Because of this, it loses.

The Right Attitude is a Sword – within it Truth is the Sword. This is why a person can control their enemies through the Right Attitude, they can control chaos, they can control disasters too. The wrong attitude is connected to and is ruled by parasites – more or less entered inside, penetrated, invaded parasites.

The Right Attitude requires a very strict vigilance – this means to constantly be in the Spirit, in the Essence. To constantly see as a warrior, not as a person, but as a warrior. Not as a fighter either, but as a warrior. To see the moves of both the visible and the invisible enemies. The Essence sees them.

In the Right Attitude there is never any gain.

The Right Attitude is found within the Principle of things, it is a particular type of power, a particular kind of Spirit. The word “Principle” means both “power” and “Spirit” and “protection” – this is something much deeper than the word “law”. With the law and with rules there are exceptions, with the Principle there is no exception: you are either in the System of God and of Truth, or you are not. When you are in, you see.

Like that occurrence with Morihei: he fights 12 of his disciples in a dark room, he strikes them all. They neither see him, nor do they know how he acts. But he sees them and acts, because he is within the Essence. He has achieved the Essence, he has achieved the Principle, the Truthfulness of things.

The person has become a person when they have lost their Right Attitude and from Spirit they became mind, they became a person. Let us not talk about the happy person… I have told you, I will only remind you of the words of Al Hallaj: The most useless thing in the world is the happy person. It is very difficult to find something more useless. Sometime I will explain it in more detail, when we will speak of Al Hallaj.

Whoever has lost their Right Attitude, they have lost their Enlightenment as well.

Buddhism, how does it work? It does not seek holiness because this is a big mistake. This is, as a whole, a wrong goal, holiness. Buddhism looks for the Void, notice, the Boundlessness. It is not limited by holiness, it seeks the Boundlessness and in this way it enters very deeply into the Essence – where the saints cannot set foot. Besides, there is no need to go into a monastery, says Buddha, because if you start working on yourself very diligently you are already a monk. The end! It does not matter where you are. You are already a monk. God is not a saint. This would have been a great limitation, if He were a saint. God is Infinity, he is Voidness, Boundlessness.

The great and Unfathomable Observer knows who, and what for, has come to train martial arts, with what secret purpose. The True Warrior has come to attain the Truth and their Essence, to attain God, to attain Dao.

The Right Attitude – this is the Purest Virtue, called in Chinese “De”. This is an Ancient, Chinese, deep understanding of the Essence. And this has nothing to do with morality, because morality knows nothing of Completeness and of the Boundlessness. It ponders, it imagines that it has attained some purity, but morality is not a measure. Nor is holiness a measure. Boundlessness is a measure.

This Voidness, or the Great Completeness – this is the person shining within their Secret. Something which is above all rules, techniques, meditations, methods, discipline and some mere health.

One who is deprived of this Essence, this Completeness, they can never be a Master, they can never be a Sage.

Such a Sage does not always gather people around them. However, if they decide, they can gather them, but they observe God. Whenever it is God’s will. They do not insist on gathering people and they do not uphold people at all. But if God says so, they gather people around themselves when God’s will wants this.

This Voidness or the Great Completeness – this is the person shining within their Secret.

Master Cheng says: Modern Wushu is in detriment because it deals not with the Spirit of Wisdom, not with the Essence, but with some strengthening of the health. – And from this, you miss both health and Wisdom, because the goal is wrong.

I will explain.

First: the presence of health is never a Pure presence, it is never Boundlessness, it is never Voidness, it never means that the person is Spirit. This presence is not Spiritual.

Second: health which is without Truth, without God, without Essence, without the Right Attitude, it will be destroyed. It was wrongly created and it will be destroyed. Why? So that the person can contemplate and learn when they become healthy again, how to use their health. Health is given so that you serve God and not for lateral, secondary things. Health without Truth is a treacherous road, a long, dark and impenetrable night.

And third: the Sage has, firstly – Truth, Essence. Then they have a Secret Heart – a Deep, Sacred Heart (in time we will talk of the Teaching of the Heart according to Egypt). And after that, in the end they have health, it comes naturally. They do not seek it but health comes, because true health is where the Truth and Purity are. With them, things are in their right order: not health first and then Purity and Truth. It is strictly determined: Truth, Purity and health comes as a consequence.

PEACE

(Second idea for contemplation)

Peace is Peace because within it, thoughts are absent.

Peace is Essence, it is the Essence of this Boundlessness, and movement is only a means of the existence of this Boundlessness that is limiting itself.

Peace in itself is Completeness and liberation. Besides this, Peace is also a cure from Paradise, not to mention hell.

Peace is the ultimate image of every activity. Peace is an Ancient self-knowledge.

Peace is the completeness of the Wise person and this is the end of the world. Whoever has achieved this Peace, they have removed the world. They are done with the world and they have returned and this end of the world is very beautiful, because they have returned into the Uncreatedness.

This is what the Pure Bogomils chose as well. Just imagine: the impure ones, the people of the Church, cast a curse on the Pure ones, cast a curse on the Bogomils and on God within them. Imagine what an enormous fall… but as I said, we will speak of this in November.

The Sage carries within them Peace and Depth which are not found in the martial arts, nor in the world. They carry within themselves Dao and therefore they can lead and help, but according to the way Dao wants.

Here in Peace all movements die, they have originated from it and they die in it. Peace is the matrix, the mother of all movement, it is the Ancient state.

A momentary and True experiencing of Peace, according to the Daoists, dilutes time for a year. So if you manage to enter – not a state of calmness, of common peace we are not even talking at all – but a state of Peace… Peace is from the Soul, common peace is from the mind – it always makes peace treaties but it has no peace within itself. Peace is a Secret of the Spirit. Only one small experience of Peace – time is diluted for a year. For one year you are no longer under the influence of time if you experience a true small moment of the Secret of Peace.

The Pure approach is something which merges with the Peace of Eternity. This is what has to be accumulated in order to become worthy, say the Daoists, for Peace to gaze upon you.

The True weapon of the Pure warrior is “chzhen” in Chinese, this means Truthfulness. This includes mainly four things: first – the Word; second – Power (not energy); third – reverence, and fourth – veneration. Four extremely important things which are observed by the Sages: The Word, Power, reverence and veneration.

The True Warrior is born of the formidable Core of Truth. And Peace is a measure of True knowledge – this is a measure, this is a diagnosis, a Supreme measure for True knowledge.

Peace is not a quality of knowledge, nor of the mind. Peace is Purely Spiritual, it is a connection to the Boundlessness and to the Essence. It is radiated only by Truth.

Peace is the place of concentrated Purity and concentrated Pure Life energy.

If a person is incapable of silence, they will reach neither Silence, nor Peace. When you are in Pure silence, you can listen and when you are in the Quiet, you merge, and then you can disappear into Peace as well. From Silence you cannot pass directly into Peace, you have to enter the Supreme Quiet and it has to allow you to disappear into Peace.

Within this great Peace nothing is born, say the Daoists. This is the place of un-birth. This is the place of Uncreatedness.

THE WISDOM OF MARTIAL ARTS

(Lecture 3)

Zen says: the True comprehension of martial arts is called “An exclusion of everything which veils the True life and the True knowledge”.

The Sage carries within themselves the Spirit of lightness. Whatever happens – says Chuang Tzu, – it is always light for the Sage. They have no burden, they carry no burden, they are not created.

And so, Chuang Tzu says: What is light is always true. Lightness – there is no matter, no weight. Lightness – Spirit and Soul.

The Sage sees inside the Secret of Life and they know that everything, that is happening, is always the best; no exception, this is how Dao acts, this is how God acts.

In Ancient China it was not important what a person is – such a matter is not observed – but what their Wisdom is.

The Sage does not become wise from philosophy and from ideas but from their relation to them, from their approach, from their Sacred approach towards things. Not pondering, not a notion, not philosophy, not quotes – Sacred relations to things.

The Sage is outside of techniques and rules, they see in Spirit because the Sage is Spirit, they are not a person. You may think, if you encounter a Sage, that they are a person – this is a mistake. They appear as a person but they are not a person.

The Ideal of the Warrior-Sage is peculiar, it is never knowledge, it is never creativity, they do not aim to leave marks, they do not want to be any authority. Their purpose is to feed, i.e. – they feed on Dao, on the Essence, they feed on Truth and this is their complete food. In this way they feed on the Completeness of life. This is why they love everything and this is why they really give way to the ant, like the Master gave way to that little worm and said: “This is a future White Brother in development”. True reverence – this is the approach. They are able to enjoy the Ancient Primordial life, before the Cosmos has been, from then still – they are able to enjoy.

In Daoist language the word “Life” means “A meeting of the Boundlessness with the Boundlessness” – a meeting of the human Spirit with the Divine Spirit.

The Sage draws life from their Heart, from their Sky. They do not take and they do not steal energy from other’s hearts; they have no such skill. They are self-sufficient in themselves, because they act purely. They have a connection with the Source within themselves. They feed on Peace and this Peace is not some musings, but this Peace is Life.

In Daoist language the word “Life” means “A meeting of the Boundlessness with the Boundlessness” – a meeting of the human Spirit with the Divine Spirit; a meeting of Essence with Essence, they have met. Daoist Wisdom is a matter of approach. The Master says, expresses this so: Your Heart you will address as “My friend”, your mind as “My slave”, Your will as: “My mighty and beautiful Sword”, and towards your Soul… – now much more reverently, the Master says, towards it – as “Master Gracious” – because it is a part of the Secret of God Himself – the Supreme Soul.

The True Master and Sage has no reactions, they have Non-doing, i.e. Eternal behaviour, behaviour of the Boundlessness, approach of Eternity and approach of the Boundlessness. They follow Dao and therefore they are constantly renewed.

One small and insignificant thing, according to the Daoists can cast you far away. One small and wrong act can cast you far away. This small thing, according to the Daoists and according to the Toltecs, is a mighty adversary.

This is called neigong and it is a Secret inner achievement, i.e. if you succeed to act in such a way: imperceptible but Pure. But if you make a mistake the Rightness is already broken. However, if you know how to act imperceptibly and Purely – behind the person’s back, exceptionally Pure – there is Nobility, there is the teaching of the Daoists. This is an achievement of which the Master hinted too, but as a whole it is not to be commented on, because the matter is of a concealed, incredible ability; because the more Secret a certain Purity is, the Mightier it is.

Sometime I will explain to you why God… He could have imposed the Bogomils, could have made them very powerful to enforce them in the world, but He does not want this way. Because He has created Truth in such a way – I am only giving a small hint here – that God Himself does not violate it. It is created in such a way that He cannot violate it, because… even, if He violates it, He will lose a part of His Almightiness, from His Great power; and so He does not want to enforce Himself in this world.

The True warrior is an Abyss of vital Wisdom. Wisdom itself – this is an ability to preserve Peace and clarity, two things.

The Sages say: Behind the Right Attitude there is always a secret additional Power, and the wrong attitude is a cast veil of darkness and dark. The wrong attitude is self-devouring – this is an approach of the ego.

The Toltec warrior is loyal to Impeccability. This Impeccability is a blow against all parasites, against it all of terrorism is helpless, this is the way for terrorism to disappear – Impeccability.

I have explained, I will tell you again: terrorism is not an Islamic curse, it is God’s curse. This is, I will tell you further in September or October, this is the Divine Wrath in action. Never judge it because in time you will enter into this Wrath. You do not know what God is doing. You do not know His Secret good. Never judge the Divine Wrath because all those who judge it and disapprove of it, this wrath will draw them in and something very much worse that I do not want to say. Never judge God, He acts everywhere, and more precisely than the poor human comprehension can imagine.

The parasites have an ancient fear of Impeccability. In Atlantis this Impeccability was called “The Sword of Truth” – this is another concept of Impeccability. Behind this Sword acted, according to the Toltecs, The Eagle or The King of Power who we call God.

The Ancient Gods were teaching the Toltecs Impeccability and therefore the Path of the True Warrior is a History of Immortality, because here you are Truthful. Because you are Truthful the Spirit of Immortality is teaching you.

The Impeccable ones became immortal and the immortal ones had no death, hence the word “Immortality”, i.e. without death.*

*Translator’s note: In Bulgarian the word for ‘’immortality’’ is composed of the words ‘’without’’ and ‘’death’’.

The warrior of the Right attitude has returned into their Spirit.

WISDOM

(Third idea for contemplation)

The Path of the Truthful person is a Path towards Boundless Wisdom, but they never stop learning. And all the rest must wage war with their ancient past – this is the personal diversion from Truth. This is the heavy past of the person, this is fate, this is karma – the personal diversion from Truth.

Takuan Soho says: Achieve your inner Sword, your inner warrior – this is Truthfulness.

The Sage says: From one thing know ten thousand things. – So from one little detail know endless things.

The world “Toltec” is a great, Ancient word – I explained it some time ago. In Anciency only the one who succeeded to see the Eagle, the Essence, they had the right to call themselves “Toltec”. A direct sight of God, face to face, they call it “The Eagle”, only then can you be called ‘’Toltec’’ and bear that name.

The Toltecs say: Walk unswervingly – this is the Way.

The one who has seen the Essence has become Essence. This is why Hermes says: You can know God only when you have become God.  – And by birth we are Gods and we are immaculate, not sinful but Primordially immaculate. This is our Origin. If you want to see the Truth, become Truth.

Musashi says: Gaze at that, which others do not gaze at, take up that, which no one takes up.

And then he says: The one who is able to defeat their enemy, never battles. – They have such a presence, I have told you: God has no adversaries. He never will.

The True warrior defeats without killing.

The one who has seen the Essence has become Essence. If you want to see the Truth become Truth.

The Mastery is within yourself, not in shooting the bow.

The arrow strikes the target only when it is in harmony with Truth – this is the Great Law, i.e. your arrow has to hit the Heart of God and come into this Eternity, this Essence – this means shooting right.

If you succumb to any weakness – says Musashi – you become a dead person. – The true Sage constantly considers Truth, the Primordial Power, in this way they constantly pursue Strength, because of likeness to God.

Musashi says also: I met a powerful warrior with faith and I asked him: – Does faith purify you from weaknesses? – And he bowed to me. His faith had not purified him from weaknesses.  I met many people of the lie and I saw that my Truth of the Way was as a curse to them. My Path towards Truth was to them like a curse.

Ego always lives in the danger of its own knowledge. Your knowledge – says Musashi – can turn out being your enemy. – You think you know, you even think that your knowledge is right – a very dangerous and treacherous enemy because it very much hinders you to reach Humility.

You must very clearly – says Musashi – see knowledge as a dangerous adversary, because it is not Love, it is not Wisdom, it is knowledge. If you see it clearly you will overcome it. If you do not see it it will guide you downwards.

All those who cannot overcome the foe named ignorance, they are dead people.

The adversary only exists if you feed them with power, if you consider them strong. The adversary is only strong when they draw power from you. If they succeed in making you think of them often, then your power will flow into them and you lose more and more power.

And says Musashi: I met people with strong faith but they did not have Great Loyalty. They were already ruined.

The goal is not to defeat your enemies, the goal – says Musashi – is to defeat the devil inside you.

AUM
