THE DRUIDS

(Lecture 1)

The Druids were called People of the Oak. Druid-Oak means An Ancient One, the Guard, the Guardian of the Gate.

The Oak is a Sacred Being. It has an Ancient age and experience, an Ancient reasonableness and consciousness. The word consciousness is key here. This is a being, a Supreme being also called an Oracle.

The Oak is a being from which an answer can be received to an important question and through it, so called Belínus can manifest – the Supreme Divine Essence.

In order to see the Soul of the Oak you must get to the very Centre, the Heart of the tree, and the Druids say: You have to sense the Secret of the Oak; you have to sense in it strength, individuality, something distinct. And in the Centre of the tree its energy is found.

The old word for Oak is Deruén – it means a Deep Anciency and Secret knowledge; and Dru in Celtic – an Oak – means I know, or The One who knows things. They also call the Oak The Old Sage.

The Oak is an old spirit of the trees. The trees are the planted lives – that is what the trees are called – the planted lives – and the Oak knows the secrets of these planted lives and of the forest because He is the keeper of the forest Wisdom.

The true Druid wields the state which the Toltecs call Naguál. This is the state without speech, without words, this is the state of the Purest Anciency. The matter is of a Pure Speechlessness, Pure Spirit. In this state things are seen clearly.

I will only divert here for a bit: in Rousse and in Bourgas now, at the last lectures, because they ask questions there, the question arose of the (financial) crisis. These are elementary things, I will only hint here: there is no such word, such a thing does not exist, but from another point of view there is one crisis and it is the only crisis – remember it – the impure consciousness. This is the only crisis and whether a person is rich, poor or living in luxury, it does not matter – there is no worse crisis than this one. Even if their whole life passes like this, they are in a crisis; and even worse, if their whole life goes by smoothly, they will sense this in the other world very late, but they will not sense it completely because they are dying without awareness. The dead person in this world and in the other world can be distinguished by this – a lack of awareness. There I explained one occurrence, here I will only hint it:

 People think that this is some kind of injustice, for example when the lion chases the deer and rips it apart, from a human point of view there is some cruelty, something inaccurate, something wrong, and actually from the Divine point of view – a very, very deep beauty. I explained there, and here to you I will say it too, in short. In time when we will be speaking of the animals, there we will speak in more depth. The lion is not created to be a lamb, the deer is not created to be a tiger or something else. God has invested in them the respective instincts, i.e. spiritual powers. Through them He is working and in time He develops these powers in the future. He will use them for His Secret aims. There is nothing ugly, nothing unpleasant and nothing unjust. But if you are looking at it from a human point of view you may go down the road of disapproving, of criticism etc and you will be losing your humility more and more, and that is where the Divine Eye originates from. So I will only tell you in short: whatever techniques you do, whatever things you train, even if you are ruining yourselves training, if you have no humility, if you have no mastery over yourselves and a constant gratitude, everything is turned into perishment. So, I diverted for a bit.

According to the Druids all mistakes must be turned into knowledge and insightfulness. And the one who truly wants to learn, they are able to learn from everything: if something has captured your attention, then it has something to teach you.

What is this, the Druid? The Druid – this is the ability to enter into your inner dwellings, in your concealed levels of reality. The name Druid is a living idea. This is the Sage who is concealed deep within every person; this is the Sage in our subsoil. That is where the Oak lives, there, in our roots. Because we are also Oaks, trees. The Druid is an Oak-Sage, as I said, because they have worked for this Sage, they have sought it through self-knowledge and they have found it within themselves.

The Druid – this is simply the concealed Sage within us. This inner Sage is our own Depth itself. This is why we are kindred to all such teachings. Everyone is a Druid, but you have to have devoted a lot of time to this seeking, to this self-knowing; for seeking and finding yourself some real time must be set aside. I want to say: everyone is a Druid; everyone is Sufi; everyone is a Daoist; everyone is a Gnostic. But some have arrived and others are walking on this path. Our real existence is a Druid and the ordinary being – it is simply just human.

The Druids were the Priests of the Celts and their Proto-Masters were the Ferylltts, who are the Priests of Atlantis.

According to the Druids the earth is the Sacred body of the Life of the trees and the trees are beings of the Secret; and according to them the tree is a Key towards our inner Path.

The Druids say: Today the Sacred body of the earth is contaminated and saturated with a lot of waste and the trees are sick. And this means that people will be sick as well. Plants are dying, waters are polluted, many animals, fish and birds are dying – the cycle is sick and along with it, man is dying too.

FYLLYD

(First idea for contemplation)

The Fyllyd, i.e. the Insightful ones. The Fyllyd- this is the Celtic Zen. We are not speaking of bards here, bards are something external. We are speaking of the Celtic Zen – the Inner ones.

In the Fyllyd Essence springs out, the Soul springs out. The Fyllyd listens to the Essence. Everything in nature teaches the Fyllyd because they listen with their own Essence.

To the Celtic poet poetry is an expression of the Mystical Consciousness, not of the ordinary consciousness. This is the poetry of the Secrecy within the person. The Fyllyd, the Celtic Fyllyd or the Celtic poet, is hidden from their feelings and their emotions; they speak through their Essence.

Fyllyd are seekers of the Essence. They speak simply. Here is one example: “I was listening to the forest, I was silenced by the sublimity of the trees, gathered as brothers in one place.”- Simple things, but clear and deep. …”gathered as brothers in one place.” – the trees are a Brotherhood.

To the Fyllyd every being is something Sacred. The true Fyllyd, walking upon the earth, feels constantly its Sacredness. In time when we will speak of Heraclitus, we will see how fire descends into air, into water, and then a part of the water also dies and turns into earth. So the whole chain begins from this fire, which is immaterial of course, and we will see that the earth really is Sacred.

The Fyllyd are amazed by the simplicity of nature and by its magnanimity. The Fyllyd has an open heart towards their Soul. Here is something from the poetry of the Fyllyd: “I know that the bird made the wind itself fly”.

“Sacred were the branches of the spirit-inhabited trees…” – As a whole, the energy in the trees is also moved by spirits who live within them: in many of the trees – evolved beings, and in the Oaks – beings from the race of the Gods. — “…and the air was holy; sacred was the water too, and the fire was holy as well”.

“I have a hut in the woods. God only knows of it. Two aspens embrace it…” – look how similar a style to Zen – “…two aspens embrace it with their leaves”.

“The hazel tree down below is singing; an Oak of centuries embraces us with His branches”.

One Fyllyd says: “I am a son of poetry. Poetry is born of Shining; Shining is born of contemplation; contemplation is born of habit; habit is born of study; study is born of great knowledge; great knowledge is born of reason; reason is born of attainment; attainment is born of Wisdom; Wisdom is born of God”.

“Not somewhere in temples”, – say the Druids – “is the Mystery; but here, around us and within us. And there is no need for travel because the Anciency is here”.

The supreme Fyllyd says: “Even the deepest darkness does not suspect of the secret Flame concealed within it”. The deepest darkness, called in the language of the druids Kitràul, i.e. the Dark – for it, it is said: “It exists – a polar level of Darkness; and Darkness – God Himself has created it into His circle, so that He rules over it”.

THE GRAIL

(Lecture 2)

What is the Grail from the viewpoint of the Druids, the Sages?

To seek the Grail is to seek your own Pure and virgin consciousness. This consciousness is the Grail. It is the root of the Eternal good. The Grail is a consciousness of the Purest kind. The Grail means to find the Secret you yourself are.

The cup of the Grail was created by Merlin through an Ancient ritual. The cup of the Grail symbolises the idea of drinking from the Source and finding this Source within yourself. As a whole, the cup is a Deep receptivity.

Grail means making a connection with the Eternal life within yourself, a connection to the inexhaustibility of life within. It also means that the Grail is connected to the Secret of overcoming death. Who has but just once seen the True Grail, they are no longer human; they are already a being of Eternal Life.

Acquiring free will – this is the reason for the loss of the Grail, but at the same time this is also the means through which we can discover it once again within ourselves.

The Grail – this is the Sacred Secret of the inner person. It is a Pure spiritual treasure, of which the Bible speaks: Seek your treasures in Heaven; – a Purely spiritual treasure, not earthly.

The Grail, this is to devote yourself completely to self-knowledge. Not to some extent, but completely, as the Native Americans say: For this Path you must have a sharp and wholehearted attention.

The Grail – this is the transmutation of the human consciousness into the Divine consciousness, which is called the Consciousness of Freedom. The True Holy Grail is the Substance, the Pure Life Force which precedes any physical form. And whoever diligently seeks the Grail, say the Druids, does not find it. I will explain: the Grail is sought in an unknown way. The Grail is not connected to the ability to seek, but to the ability of Essence.

I will explain it in another way, as it is with the Sufi: they do not talk of Love, do not study it, because they know they cannot study it completely; it is not going to happen through studying – but through evincing. When you evince your Essence, your Love, it gradually begins to teach you. You cannot learn it, but Love already begins to teach you and to introduce you into itself. Through this ability you reach Proto-Unity and here the person is transformed into Freedom.

The message of the Grail is a summoning for returning into the Essence. As you see, similar to the Sphinx: Bring meaning to yourself – here it is similar. And this message is always important and Essential, but I must say: the Grail is a Secret from the Mysteries, and this means that to the mortals, or the impure ones, this Secret is formidable. God there, for the impure ones, has another face and another approach.

The Grail is a symbol. It can be found with great Purity and then it shines within the person, and this is the shining of God – He is the One Who is shining.

One of the secrets of the Grail is to defeat – say the Druids – the good in you in order to attain God. So you must outgrow this good in order to attain God, where there is a whole different measurement for what is good. And then you already attain within yourself the Purity of the Absolute good. Then, of course, you will never say: “I always do good and this and that happens to me” – you will simply be aware and you will not speak in this way. It means to be liberated from the human good – Why? We all must become free from it because it is not Pure. I will explain again: the ordinary good person cannot come near this Higher good, because the human life does not have these qualities of the Absolute good. According to the Druids it is considered that the ordinary good smites the human life – they call it that – the ordinary good smites the human life.

I am reminded here of one occurrence, I will divert for a bit: Nassredin Hodja, when they asked him: Aye, Nassredin, if we make you a sultan, a king, what will you do for people? He says simply: I will do a lot of things but nothing will come out of it! – He wants to say how people in the world act, how they do many things, they will continue to do them, there will be promises, but Sufi has the insight: nothing comes out of human things – besides cemeteries and other things like that.

So, the ordinary good smites the human life and this is why only the Grail can heal this good and this wrong life.

The word Grail, which also means Cup, besides Essence, but it otherwise means also a place that contains, which means a very deep receptiveness. This is a quality of the Purity of Humility – the Deep receptivity. In this case, receipting the higher good, i.e. the good of God, not our good, but the good of God.

And so, this cup, this great receptivity, this Depth, regards the Concealed Life of God. So when we are seeking the Grail, we are seeking the Concealed Life of God.

THE CELTIC BOOK OF DEATH

(Second idea for contemplation)

The other world is considered by the Druids to be a reservoir for the souls.

The Druids and the Celts say: “Death is a Priestess, a Secret bridge towards the peculiar life. The conscious life is also a conscious passing into death. For the conscious Fire within the person, death and life are in Unity”. It is exactly this that Heraclitus says: “God is simultaneously war and peace, day and night, abundance and hunger”. And Heraclitus says: “Opposites are friends, they embrace, they help each other and in the end they merge in such a way, that within them, God grows.” But of Heraclitus we will speak further in time. So they are unified, they are in unity.

One Druid says: “Can you be with me in the cool dawn of death, when the fire withdraws and nothing warms my blood anymore? Can you observe, when the candle burns out and the invisible friends have gone? A long and peaceful rest awaits me…” – I have told you, the word dying means going to the world of peace – into peace; the word itself shows it and it is very precise…*

*Translator’s note – In Bulgarian the word “dying”, “to die”, is composed of the words “into” and “peace”.

„…I am embarking on a journey with an open heart” – this is how the Essence speaks. There are no tragedies here, no comedies, no excess flowers – to give the deceased flowers; and even while they were alive, then still… but anyway…

“Now, Love gives me another Birthing,” – death is, as a whole, joy, – “And again, it summons me later to return to Earth”.

“Death is a journey in the vastness of your own Essence.” – and if you learn to enter into yourself now, then it will be very easy for you – this is for the person who is aware.

“Anyone who cannot control life, they cannot control death, either”.

“It is not important”, – say the Druids – “Whether life is in a body or not, what is important is awareness.”

“After their death the conscious person is born into the vastness of the Boundless Life energy. We always have a connection to the energy, we move in it. We move in life not with our body, but with our energy.” – Some people think that it is the legs that walk. No such thing – the legs cannot walk, this can be seen very clearly in the grave. Why is the person not walking? Because the energy is the Essence, it is so simple… So, we do not move with our body, that is like saying that the car is moving our Spirit. If we start the car, it will move – the ignition is the Key, the Key is Essential.

 „We are moving through our Essence, through our energy; it moves us. And our Essence – this is simply Life itself.” – Whether we are in a body or not, whether we go in or out of our car, whether we go inside our house or not – the Essence is our life. And the Master has said it very simply: When I go out of my house, or if I go out of my apartment, well, am I dead?  – Just because there is no one in the house… See how simple it is! But in time we will be speaking especially about death, now we are speaking about a short excerpt from the Celtic Book of Death.

„If we are aware, we are always within our Essence.”

“When the breathing of the body stops, then the Breath of the Soul becomes free.” – an enormous joy, freedom.

“In this world and in the other world, we are travelling towards our Eternal Birthing on a higher level.”

„Life is” – say the Druids – “a Great transformer. After death, the reasonable Soul feels its home, which is the free living space.” – So, these are not caves, apartments etc., but the free living space – an enormous freedom.

“In the other world there is also knowledge being taught”– say the Druids, – “but in the form of filos.” – this means in the form of inspiration.

“On Earth every True friend of ours is a Soul friend for our journey to ourselves.” – We are speaking of the True friend – they are also a Soul friend for our journey towards the Essence.

„Death is also” – say the Druids – “a compassionate friend.”  – So, God is everywhere – “Death is a concealed, compassionate friend who gives the Soul rest.” – Sometimes there are people who love their close ones so much that they are detaining them with their love, and the person wants to rest, the Soul wants to rest, but it is such an attachment… And the Soul continues to live, to sigh and to dream of that rest, but either way, a day will come when attachments will not help.

„Death is a liberator of the person – from their past.”

“If it was not for the Secret of death, we would not have been able to travel towards ourselves and to heal completely of the earthly reality.”

“Death is a Secret gift. It is a healing journey towards your own self.”

“What awaits us in the other world is mostly our accumulated Love. In this direction we are moving.” – Where our accumulated Love is, whatever we have devoted it to, that is where we are moving towards.

“Death is only one moving, with which life simply continues, with all its shapes and boons, to another world – the mistakenly so-called world of the dead, or the fabled World Beyond.”

“A birth here is a death that has happened in the other world” – say the Druids – “but death never, ever defeats the person.”

MERLIN

(Lecture 3)

Who is he? We will talk again another time, and today as well.

A Priest. A Master. A Great Magus. A Mystical Fyllyd, i.e. a True Poet – not a bard, but a Mystical Fyllyd and poet. One of the most Ancient Gods of the First Solar Race. The Secret leader of the Druids who also comes from the Deep, Ancient Wisdom of Atlantis.

In Merlin, there sounds the Ancient other world. Peculiar, Mysterious. Merlin himself is such. A peculiar world – Mystical, twilight – he himself is twilight and he lived in twilight. A wanderer from Wales. His name is the true one, I have said it to you before – Myrddin Wyllt – which means Myrddin the Primordial.

Ever since childhood he lived in twilight. But what does that word mean? I will not get into it too much, I will explain to you briefly: the word twilight is a strange state between matter and consciousness – between the two – and at the same time it is deeper than both. This is called twilight.

Ever since he was a child, he had to explore the earth, the plants, the animals; later – the Secrets of the sea and of the clouds – from childhood; the Secrets of the wind. Later he had to rediscover in his daily life and in the small things all that is called Great and to summon It for communion. Later, much like the sea, the clouds and the wind, young Merlin had to aim towards Boundlessness, as they do also, because they are journeying eternally. Even animals are journeying. The human, the planets, the Sun, even the rocks – noticed Merlin, – they are journeying. In this way, even as a child, he realised that everything has Breath, that everything is the Breath of the Universe, and that this Breath is a part of Dágda – the Great Divine Beginning. He also realised that all this that he is seeing is without beginning and without end.

From a young age Myrddin lived in seclusion for a very long time – something very important – seclusion, and this created for him the ability to see deeply through things. As a whole, True things are accomplished in seclusion. Here I must hint to you that seclusion has nothing to do with loneliness; it destroys loneliness. I have said before: the word seclusion means going into the One, the One God* and there is no such idea of loneliness.

*Translator’s note: In Bulgarian, the word for “seclusion” is composed of the words “into” and “Oneness”, “Unity”.

Loneliness is for the impure consciousness: it can live among a whole bunch of people and still be lonely, because loneliness is a matter of ego.

This Mystical Master and Supreme Druid was a Sublimely-human Being with a gift to govern the invisible powers and to rule over them, and at the same time this is a Being that has subdued himself in servitude of God and of these Supreme powers, i.e. there is Unity between them.

This, as they call him, magical Druid Merlin, even before he immersed himself in the strange dream of the world, he sowed something very important within himself – before he descended to Earth, in the strange dream of the world – he sowed within himself the power of the new seeking. He wished that his deepest intent would be a Seeker of the New, i.e. he asked for the Power of the New Seeking to be given to him because he knows how much this world puts beings to sleep. This is the Power and the Meaning of the Grail. With this choice he descended and what happened? He found within himself what he wanted – through this new seeking he found the Grail – the Essence, but in a new way. Because when you descend into a new incarnation, you must always reach a new initiation in this body, as well. The old initiations are old, you must reach a new one – and he achieves this.

This seeking was an intense seeking, which makes the person worthy of this discovery. Not just seeking, but an intense seeking, which makes the person worthy of the discovery itself. And so, another time we will speak of him again. And now, what does he say to us:

“The future is concealed even from the ones who create it – the Gods.” -The matter here is of the Gods. So, if any of you are going somewhere, they want to know their future, my advice is – better ask Nassredin Hodja – you will learn more accurate things. In time we will talk especially of him, as well – both of him and of his Wisdom.

He (Merlin) says: “In the rocks there are dragons deeply asleep”.

“The Divine Power within us is the King of the world”.

“The person has to become their own Oracle and unriddle themselves”. This is the secret of the Sphinx.

“Once upon a time – he says – I lived in twilight and in impenetrable darkness. There I gained insight of Wisdom. In a peculiar darkness I gained insight of the Door and this Door led me out”. The word Door means transition, in the Atlantean language Aramon means transitioning into another dimension, a higher world. And the walls, the obstacles, the barriers, mean delusions.

“In a peculiar darkness I saw the strange, I saw life. I saw that in the dark too, the person has a Guardian, but they have to find It”. – This is why humility, sincerity, are important. – “The person has a Guardian even in the dark, but they have to find It.”

This Guardian dwells in Dágda – the Conception – and his (Merlin’s) prayer was: “O, you, Guardian! Rise and Shine in the dark and keep me safe”.

And then he says: “The Initiated one has a strange culture – the culture of the Secret. I sat long and long still, alone and in impenetrable dark. And there was no sun to warm me. Then I warmed the dark”. – This is the Essence, this is the Grail. – “I hung in timelessness and I saw nothing else but the Spirit – Who understands the Boundlessness. I felt strange, but my Spirit understood Timelessness. Whoever has overcome death, they begin living in a bottomless Abyss”. – The matter here is of the Boundlessness.

“Every one must enlighten their own dark times”. – This is the task; some are asking what the task is – every one has sown, since their past, dark times, the so-called karma, and he says: “Every one must enlighten their own dark times. Every one must find, in hell, their own times of light”. – So in trials, in suffering, in hell, you must find your time of light.

“The True knowledge, this is to ignite within yourself a Perpetual Fire. Every thing is protected by the Power of the Fire”. – This is the same as what Heraclitus says, but we will speak of that too, in time.

“Darkness is that force, which cannot penetrate the Ring Of Fire”.

Then he says something about the Quiet: “The Quiet is a fearsome spell. When the Divine gave up talking to the person, when the Divine gave up talking to people, It became Quiet”. – Of course, if God listens to all of the person’s nonsense, it is something endless. So When God gave up listening to people and talking to them, He became Quiet. He hid Himself and He is waiting for whom? He is waiting for only the Worthy Ones to find Him in this Quiet. And there He speaks privately, because He is the Measure and He knows who is Worthy. This is why He hid in Quietness.

Then he says: “Only by fighting the dark do we gain the Ancient, True knowledge”. Not just knowledge – the Ancient, True knowledge.

Again a big likeness to another Priest – Heraclitus. Heraclitus speaks as a Priest; he is a Priest and he is of a Priestly kin. And he explains, some time ago I was telling you, why war is deeper than common peace: because common peace, I will repeat again, common peace gives birth to stagnation; stagnation breeds demons and war comes to help – renewal. He says: “War gives birth to a new life, a new Unity. War is a great reasonable madness” – thus says Heraclitus and he is right. Reasonable madness because from it, in time, a Great Peace is born. This is why opposites are friends. But in time we will speak of Heraclitus.

Merlin says: “Create a future while you still have time”. So, every person can better themselves more and more, purify themselves more and more, become more noble. The person can intensify this process or they can dilute it – it depends.

He says: “In fate there are currents and whirls which must be studied and overcome”.

And then Merlin says: “The Ancient Way is concealed in the times of Legends. The Ancient Way is concealed within action. Act purely and do not think of yourself”.

This is what the Master says as well: “Speak the Truth and do not think of the consequences”. – If you start thinking too much: that you will lose, that there is no gain in this – you are done for. Tell the Truth and do not think of the consequences! But of course, this is not that easy, because you have to have the measure – what is True – and this depends on whether you have devoted yourself to Truth. And when you have devoted yourself to Truth, still years will pass until it teaches you.

THE TREES

(Third idea for contemplation)

The tree is a Sage-being. If you succeed in seeing the Soul of the tree, you will also reach its Centre, its concealed consciousness. In the concealed Centre of the tree its energy is found. And what the Druids say: “Energy is the field of consciousness. Once you have a Special Love towards the tree, you are creating a Voice within the tree, and this Voice will respond to you.” – But only to an important and Essential question. Never a question about another person – your own, personal, intimate, Sacred, Deep question – only questions like this.  And only one question!

Here I will divert for a bit, I am remembering Native American wisdom: When a Shaman wants to cut a branch from the tree, they say: “Father Oak, allow me to cut a True branch for a staff so that I may serve people”. And in the morning, during the sunrise they focus and pray, and the Sun penetrating between the branches shows them which one the branch is exactly. Then the tree, which has a concealed consciousness, does not withdraw its energy from the branch but leaves it there. When a person is cutting a branch without permission, they are taking a dry branch without energy – the concealed being withdraws it and then this is not a staff, but some stick which will work against you. It has no worth because it was not taken according to the rules of the Sacred Origin. But in time we will speak of the Native Americans separately. So: “Devote a small song or prayer in order to awaken its Spirit; bring it a small gift – a piece of honey bread, water and so on.”

The Druid dressed in clean clothes and asked in concentration their only Essential question towards the Oak-tree or the Old Sage. They lit incense and touched the Sacred tree. There is no hugging here – using the energy and walking away – no such things. Here you create an atmosphere first, a Sacred atmosphere – you do not go only to use, but also to give – there is a communion between Love and Love – concealed consciousnesses. They touch the Sacred tree and they wait humbly and patiently. “If you have done all this correctly, you will hear a voice from the tree” – i.e. the being governing the tree, who in the case of Oaks is a being from the race of the Gods. “You will hear the voice of this concealed spiritual being who lives hidden within the Secret of the tree. And then only one thing is required – listen!” – And never ask your chosen tree, as I said, about other people – only one Sacred question.

The staff is the mightiest when it is derived from an Oak, but I say again, as the Druids also say – you must ask the Oak whether it will give you a branch of its energy, of its Essence, of its Depth, a branch of itself; you must awaken its Voice and ask permission. If the Wise Oak does not agree, then you will cut off a dry branch and this will be a curse to you because its energy withdraws. And then this dry branch becomes a danger to you. Why? Because it was not Love that gave it, but the enmity of the tree. The Druids say: “It was not Love that gave it, but the concealed enmity of the tree”. But for the Priest-Druid who is of the utmost pure intentions, the Oak-Sage gives its deep consent and gives them a part of its concealed – notice here – Central energy, that is also concealed both within this being who governs, and in the Secret consciousness of the Oak, in its Centre. Precisely this energy and this branch becomes a staff and it truly heals.

“The tree is a Sacred Natural beginning. And if it is a beginning,” – say the Druids, – “it is also a Master”. Beings live within the trees, and as I said – in the Oak – Gods live. Within the trees there are Spirit-Masters and the Druid bows before them. The Druid feels in the branches, in the leaves, in the voice of the wind, in the emanations of the Spirit-Master, they feel the answers. The Master also says – of the leaves of the tree – that judging by them you can tell what thoughts the person has left under the tree.

As a whole, the tree is a Mystical being. It is a Spiritual Gate towards the Heavens, it is a Gate to Wisdom and it is light for the Sages. To Druids, the trees are their brothers. Through the tree Gods and humans meet and this is why the Druids say: “We are one kin with the trees”. And immersing themselves in the Essence of the tree, the Druids found many secrets. To stand beside an old tree for the Druids means to stand beside an old friend. To awaken the tree means to penetrate into its Centre, into its Essence; and to merge with the tree means to become Immutable as the tree. So, there is such an exercise – to experience its Immutability. It is much deeper than motion, but we do not know that, either… As a whole, Immutability – everything originated from it and there everything is renewed. In order to become Immutable like the tree you must change places with the tree, and when you succeed in merging with the Essence of trees, then you enter into their Secrecy and into your own Secrecy.

The tree is a manifestation of a Secrecy, a manifestation of another world that descended into our own world. So this is another world – beings, brothers, who descended into our world. The Ancient names of the Oak are Dair and Deruén. According to the Druids this is our Ancient ally, especially the Oak, but not only.

And, say the Druids: “God is in the Centre of everything and He is the cause of everything. He created trees so that they teach us Wisdom.”
